All about ME

Welcome!  I am so glad you have found my blog.    I figured I should finally fill in an all about me section to give you a bit of insight into my world.

By day I am crunching numbers and working with my marketing counter parts as a senior category finance analyst.  (Asleep yet? )  The good thing is it is for a large food company so it does have some occasional perks.   By night and by weekends I bake, blog and have fun with photography.   So depending on how busy work is or what is going on otherwise effects how many posts I can get out.

I am now a Mom and currently enjoying my mat leave.  A mom to a beautiful little girl who I am completely in love with.  Now my ability to blog all depends on her.   So far I am having a blast with her.   My goals now are to be a organized, fun and creative mom,  which means more blog reading for me.

Not only do I bake for blogging I do have a small cake and dessert business -  (That is where the Sweet Twist of Blogging came from).   Simple, fun and cute cakes and cupcakes is what I tend to offer - ranging from weddings, birthdays, baptisms and even Super Bowl Bikini cakes (Don't ask).

I have been reading blogs for a long time before I started to write my own.   I just got to a point where I just couldn't fight it any longer. If I was going to bake I might as well share it with whoever finds me.
